A. EDUCATION

<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN).</li>

<li>Active registered nurse licensure in the state of Florida</li>
<li>Knowledge of the principles, practices, and skilled techniques of nursing; symptomology and disease processes; general nutrition; medical equipment operation; use and effects of medications and immunizations; legal environment of nursing; health education techniques; medical recordkeeping and privacy practices; clinic organizations and operations; supervisory practices.</li>
<li>Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes including Client Confidentiality Laws and Accountability Act (HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability)).</li>
<li>Ability to evaluate and assess the need for nursing and/or medical services; perform skilled nursing tasks; anticipate patient’s needs.</li>

VI. AGE SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS SERVED RESPONSIBILITY
The clients of Addiction Recovery Institute of America, LLC are adults over the age of 18 with substance abuse and other obsessive compulsive and psychiatric disorders.
 
VII. WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT
Offices with access to computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine, scanner, telephone, supervisor, and management for consultation purposes; ergonomically correct seating.
 
VIII. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
This position requires work in a temperature-controlled environment. Approximately 100% of time is spent indoors in temperatures of approximately 72-78 degrees. Outside activities may expose employees to temperatures over 96 degrees with high humidity. There is a potential exposure to violent situations, airborne and blood borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.
 
IX. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position involves standing, walking, bending, crouching, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, reading, reaching, stair climbing, air flight and driving. The percentage of time utilizing each physical demand varies according to the individual’s role in the continuum of care. Moderate lifting/lowering of 20 to 50 pounds may also be required during employment. 
 
X. MENTAL DEMANDS
This position requires extensive work with other individuals. Additionally, the position may create a high level of mental stress although this is not the intent. You are expected to consistently take care of yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually to perform this function.

Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of all Clients in all Stages of Care at specific OHB campuses.</li>
<li>Ensures the privacy and confidentiality of all Clients and their records.</li>
<li>Completes duties in a professional and timely manner.</li>
<li>Reports all alleged incidents of abuse or neglect in accordance with all state standards and accrediting bodies.</li>
<li>Responsible for the daily clinical operation of the mental health residential treatment facility.</li>
<li>Has direct responsibility for the efficient, professional, and timely operation of all clinical services, including the supervision of all clinical staff across all Stages of Care at specific Hanley campuses.</li>
<li>Ensures that all records are accurate and are prepared in a timely fashion and audits all records in a way consistent with best practices and/or accreditation requirements.</li>
<li>Ensures that all records are available for inspection by staff of all state and accrediting bodies.</li>
<li>Has direct supervision responsibility of clinical services provided by direct care staff, secretarial, ancillary, and volunteer staff.</li>
<li>Trains, or causes to be trained, staff, volunteers, and students under supervision who are part of an internship or externship program associated with a university or college degree program.</li>
<li>Ensures and maintains the safety of property belonging to and on facility grounds.</li>
<li>Ensures that program schedules and functions are met in a professional and timely manner.</li>
<li>Ensures and coordinates with clinical staff’s functioning to avoid scheduling conflicts for clients, between Administrative, Medical, Clinical, and programmatic needs or requirements set forth by the Standards.</li>
<li>Stands “on call” unless arranged for coverage by a designee of the Executive team.</li>
<li>Coordinates all clinical activities to ensure clients receive appropriate clinical treatment set forth by licensing, accreditation, contractual agreements, and the Policies and Procedures of the program.</li>
<li>Establishes oversight of all client records in full compliance with the license requirements of the State.</li>
<li>Ensures that all staff members from all disciplines work effectively, individually and as a total Treatment Team.</li>
<li>Ensures that all relevant information is provided to the client, their parents, or the managing conservator on a regular and at least weekly basis.</li>
<li>Designs, manages, and implements all programmatic curricula and activities in accordance with industry standards and best practices.</li>
<li>Manages all volunteer activities that fall within the clinical scope of the programs.</li>
<li>Coordinates, obtains, and approves all training materials.</li>
<li>Manages Site Reviews performed by all state and accrediting bodies.</li>
<li>Manages types of services and the population to be served.</li>

Supervisory Responsibility:

Education/Experience/Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master’s Degree in the field of Human Services or Mental Health from an accredited institution.</li>
<li>Maintain current state license, including all necessary CEUs.</li>
<li>Minimum of three (3) years post licensure (LCDC/CAP) experience providing treatment services, including chemical dependency counseling experience.</li>
<li>Current designation as a Qualified Supervisor (QS) by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage &amp; Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling is preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in program development, implementation, and clinical management.</li>
<li>Complete understanding of all state and accrediting bodies’ licensing standards.</li>
<li>If in recovery, one (1) year of continuous sobriety is preferred.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Demonstrate managerial experience and competence.</li>
<li>Knowledge, experience, and competence in the specific areas of adult treatment, adult co-morbid complications, and family systems theory.</li>
