Major Functions 
The County of Volusia is seeking an Engineering Inspector in our Facility Management division, in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Engineering Inspector is tasked with ensuring that projects are completed according to specifications, standards, and within budget and schedule constraints. This position will work closely with the Construction Managers assigned to the capital improvement projects for County Facilities. The majority of projects will be renovation, repair, and retrofit projects, the ideal candidate will also be well-versed in vertical construction requirements as well. 
 
Illustrative Duties

Minimum Requirements 
-Graduation from high school or possession of a GED and four (4) years' experience in commercial construction or related field including inspections and similar situations.

-Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s license at the time of hire. 
-Must possess a valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of appointment and maintain thereafter.
