The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client's specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
Stooping/Bending
Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
Crouching/Squatting
Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
Reaching
Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward. Workers reach above 72 occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
Hand Tasks
Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day. Frequently activities require use of one or both hands. Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists. Workers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter. <li>Assists in troubleshooting, diagnosis, service and repair of heavy commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems</li>
<li>Maintains, monitors and manages BAS system, DDCs, and Energy Management System(s)</li>
<li>Tests electrical currents or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment</li>
<li>Tests pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution</li>
<li>Joins pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source, to form complete circuit</li>
<li>Reassembles and tests equipment following repairs</li>
<li>Repairs or replaces defective equipment, components, or wiring</li>
<li>Layouts and connects electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams, using electrician’s hand tools</li>
<li>Installs, connects, and adjusts thermostats, humidistats, and timers, using hand tools</li>
<li>Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area</li>
<li>Inspects and tests systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions</li>
<li>Provides timely and quality repairs of commercial grade ice makers, walk-in cooler/freezers and reach in cooler/freezers, etc.</li>
<li>Performs Preventive, Corrective, Predictive and emergency maintenance on all HVAC and Refrigeration equipment throughout campus</li>
<li>Logs all freon IAW Fed, State and local EPA regulations</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as required.</li>
</ul>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Following instructions, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Ability to work on site during normal working hours; available for after-hour calls and being on-call</li>
<li>Read, understand, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacture’s recommendations of equipment.</li>
<li>Safely operate hand tools, power-hand tools, and complete roof inspections required by assignments.</li>
<li>Computer skills for record keeping in the CMMS (Maximo)</li>
<li>Attend training as scheduled and/or required.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.</li>
<li>OSHA 10 Certification (preferably OSHA 30)</li>
<li>Must have experience in HVAC, air handling, deionizer water, chilled water condenser, hot water, compressed air, electronic gate systems, and boilers.</li>
<li>Must have and maintain state HVAC licenses/certifications.</li>
<li>Must have a valid state driver’s license with no major infractions.</li>
<li>Minimum of five (5) years of experience in AC and Refrigeration trade as an HVAC/R Technician in a commercial industrial/ government setting.</li>
<li>At least two (2) leadership experience as a Lead or Foreman in the HVAC/R field.</li>
<li>Reliable transportation to work. </li>
<li>Be able to regularly Lift, Carry, Push/Pull up to 75 lbs.</li>
<li>TRANE Chiller experience.</li>
<li>TRANE Automation System experience.</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED:
<ul>
<li>Boiler experience a plus</li>
<li>Experience working in a government facility</li>
<li>Strong industry relationships with equipment and parts distributors, manufacturers and service providers.</li>
</ul>
Additional Qualifying Factors:
 
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. 
 
Security Clearance Requirements:
 
It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. The Contractor shall submit security clearance information, for each employee, as required by current government identification card application procedures and future requirements as applicable. All employees must be authorized as acceptable under by the contracting officer for the prime contract under which this employee is working.
 
Full-Time Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $40.67/hr. + Health &amp; Welfare Benefits ($1,550.00/month)
This position is eligible for overtime compensation with prior authorization by management.
