The primary purpose of this position is to assist the members of our growing community in meeting their financial needs and goals within each of BrightStar’s branches by offering them superior consumer and business products and services. Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:

<li>Provide members with a personalized rewarding experience by executing various defined member engagement strategies through the knowledge and use of sales skills measured by member experience surveys. Confidently build relationships with members by understanding their financial life priorities and connecting them to our solutions that meet their financial goals. Assist with the month-end closing process, including variance analysis, posting monthly entries, and being responsible for maintaining the month-end checklist.</li>
<li>Process appropriate percentage of teller transactions for the branch as defined by branch management, with a high degree of accuracy within the limits of the over/short policy. </li>
<li>Process an appropriate percentage of new accounts and account maintenance as defined by branch management with a high degree of “Quality Assurance” accuracy within the limits of credit union policy. Use sales skills to uncover Member needs and provide credit union deposit and loan solutions. </li>
<li>Dependability—Accomplishes workload responsibilities promptly without prompting. Takes the initiative to manage and communicate absences and leave appropriately.</li>
<li>Meet or exceed ancillary product sales referral goals.</li>

About the Role:
The Intake Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the initial patient engagement process, ensuring a smooth and efficient intake experience. This position is responsible for gathering and verifying essential patient information, coordinating communication between patients and internal teams, and facilitating timely service delivery. The Intake Coordinator acts as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy. By maintaining accurate records and managing documentation, the coordinator supports compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this role contributes to building strong patient relationships and streamlining operational workflows to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:

<li>Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare, social services, or related environment.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency with standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.</li>

Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience working as an intake coordinator or in a similar client-facing role.</li>
<li>Knowledge of relevant privacy laws and regulations, such as HIPAA.</li>
<li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.</li>
<li>Bilingual abilities or additional language skills to support diverse client populations.</li>

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Demonstrates safe and correct restraint procedures and documentation as per hospital policy.</li>
<li>Attends and documents 90% of the Behavioral Health Department Staff Meetings.</li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality of patient, department, and hospital information.</li>
<li>Completes designated portions of the pre-admission form within the time frame and submits it to Charge Nurse for review</li>
<li>Notifies the Registered Nurse of the patient's desire for treatment and the patient's response to any previous treatment to assist in determining the need for further assessment and documents in the pre-admission form accurately and appropriately.</li>
