Accounts Receivable Compensation

<li>Pay rate: 17.00 per hour</li>
<li>Monday-Friday 8:30am 5:00PM EST</li>

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
Job Description
<ul>
<li>Process medical billing claims and collect patient or provider payments.</li>
<li>Resolve questions and problems with customer accounts, including appeals.Investigate payment denials and rectify situations with payers or patients.</li>
<li>Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers and insurance providers.</li>
<li>Document status of billing and payment processes for future follow-up.</li>
<li>Stay current on payer requirements through research and coaching.</li>
<li>Complete all internal system notes assigned.</li>
<li>Work on miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain a positive work atmosphere that embodies professional excellence, teamwork, and integrity.</li>
<li>Coach and mentor new AR Billing team members and document coaching efforts.</li>
</ul>
Accounts Receivable QUALIFICATIONS:
Critical Information
<ul>
<li>No supervisory responsibilities; provides work direction only.</li>
<li>Must maintain a production level between 20–40 accounts per day.</li>
<li>Ability to work some evening shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.</li>
</ul>
Education/Licenses Needed
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Two to four years prior medical supply billing experience preferred.</li>
