 Housekeeping Supervisor 
NATURE OF WORK 
The supervisor oversees the environmental operation directly responsible for promoting a clean and efficient process for the assigned account. Acts as a direct liaison between the client and staff. 
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

<li>Directly responsible to ensure the clients requests are assigned to personnel and completed in a timely manner daily</li>
<li>Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean environment</li>
<li>Assigns workers their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness</li>
<li>Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.</li>
<li>Plans work schedule for major tasks.</li>
<li>Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies. </li>
<li>Issues supplies and equipment to workers. </li>
<li>Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.</li>
<li>Conducts in-service training of assigned employees to explain company policies, housekeeping work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.</li>
<li>Attends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures and enhance supervisory skills.</li>
<li>Records data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, and prepares periodic reports.</li>

<li>Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.</li>
