Job Requirements 

<ul>
<li>Experience: 7 years of experience in the Banking industry in the BSA/Compliance area, working as an investigator or monitoring analyst with SAR filing ability, and experience managing teams or in a team-lead capacity.</li>
<li>Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent education.</li>
<li>Knowledge of related state and federal banking BSA/ AML regulations.</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.</li>
<li>ACAMS or BSA/AML certification preferred.</li>
<li>Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).</li>
<li>Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills. </li>
<li>Knowledge of BSA/AML standards and practices. </li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies. </li>
<li>Ability to work in a team environment ensures deadlines are met.</li>
<li>Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. </li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of bank’s operational activities, terminology and products and services. </li>

SUMMARY: 
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the safeguarding of hotel property, assets, guests, patrons and team members. Give direction to Safety &amp; Risk Officers as needed on specific shifts.</li>
</ul>
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Oversees Safety &amp; Risk Team Officers during shift, ensuring posts are manned and the business is operating efficiently and effectively from a safety &amp; risk perspective</li>
<li>Oversee Safety &amp; Risk Officers are in proper attire (designated hotel wardrobe), reporting to duty on time and proper coverage of hotel grounds</li>
<li>Check all alarm systems, safety and fire equipment systems</li>
<li>Closely monitor security of building doors, service areas and delivery areas</li>
<li>Trains new team members on safety and risk protocols and procedures</li>
<li>Ultimate responsibility for people and property in the absence of Safety &amp; Risk Manager and Director</li>
<li>Delivers an enthusiastic, professional greeting to guests upon arrival and departure</li>
<li>Patrols hotel grounds to ensures area all areas are clean, safe and secure</li>
<li>Builds relationships with patrons that add to the guest experience</li>
<li>Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures</li>
<li>Investigates all guests and staff complaints and observations</li>
<li>Serves as a link between the rest of the management team and the staff</li>
<li>In charge of maintaining and updating the files of the Safety &amp; Risk Management Department</li>
<li>Ensures that the department’s equipment is maintained, in good working order, and makes the necessary arrangements for repairs when needed</li>
<li>In charge of maintaining a confidential trend-file of any and all team member's involved in reported losses, theft and/or fraud</li>
<li>Makes unannounced spot checks on staff performance at varying times and days</li>
<li>Reports and notify management with regards to incidents involving guests or patrons</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>High school or equivalent education preferred</li>
<li>2 years previous Safety &amp; Risk Management experience</li>
<li>Licenses or Certificates- Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses certificates or permits</li>
<li>Good oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of word processors and windows based computers</li>
</ul>

Working Conditions:

<li>Work is mostly performed outdoors and requires various shifts and weekend hours. As well as physical patrols of all JHR properties</li>
